Have a break, have a?
Look what I got for myself? Kitkat caramel bar! Also tried cookies and cream, but nothing beats the original. This is just way too sweet for my taste but if you’ve got a sweet tooth and are really craving for some throat-tingling treat, by all means- grab it.

Trying to keep the pounds off
Been doing nothing but EAT, EAT and EAT. How to combat packing the pounds? Good 40-minute run every morning. Fresh air, wide pavements, cold breeze, friendly Aussies. Who says I need a gym?

Snippets of Melbourne
Melbourne reminds me of San Francisco- a little calmer and laid back though. It’s a shopping hub for Aussies as compared to other cities, even Sydney! Good thing the sale racks were out when we visited so I got A LOT of bargains!

Certified real estate broker.
WHAT A BREATHER. It was 130am here at Melbourne when my boyfriend confirmed it to me. How amaaaazing is it spending your vacay with the ease of knowing you’ve made it. I cannot thank You enough. Now it’s clear to me what You want me to do and where You want me to be. *happy dance*

Last minute shopping!
Minutes ago, I frantically ran to the supermarket to get a few stuff for my trip: Feminine wipes (esp.needed for longhaul flights), mouthwash, 2 pairs of foot covers, gilette blades, trusted Bioflu (because I’m sickly!), facial wipes, and a small bottle of J&J’s body wash Hopefully, I’ve gathered everything I could possibly need for traveling! Weee! This makes me excited...

Forsaken House
A couple weeks ago (or more), my friends and I watched The Forsaken House to support our dearest best actress, Chic San Agustin who played a promiscuous Filipina woman back in the 1940’s. It’s a full-length play written by Wilfrido Guerrero back in the post-war era of the 1940s. Quite tragic and experiencial it was, actually. If not all, I think most felt the tension...

Joining the bandwagon: What's in my bag?
My dependable Michael Kors tote unveils…………… My summer essentials are definitely a pack of oil control sheets (Silk Secrets is one of the cheapest around!) and Evian facial spray, which both keep me looking fresh and new all day! I also have inside a small tube of Vaseline hand lotion, because my hands are a major turn off. Good thing Saz likes it rough *no pun...

vivatregina: I was spacing out during the homily earlier today (I know, I know, but it’s not my fault some priests enjoy the sound of their own voices and like to talk in circles), and for some reason, ended up thinking about why I have so many insecurities. I mean, I’d like to think I’m not a bad person….

And I quote, "Beat the Heat."
There are not enough words to describe what summer is like for me. I can’t stop thinking about the sun, the beach, and some mocktails/cocktails to quench the thirst!

A Nightmare!
I cannot help but feel frustrated about my whole experience taking the real estate licensure exam. Let me start off with by far the earliest call time ever. Waking up at 5am for a 6:30am call time was probably the most dreaded of all. And it’s not like I’m 5-10 kilometers away from the venue… It was in University of the East Manila (Claro M. Recto)! Good thing we traveled early...

Thaipan-Tomas Morato
Saz brought me to this cozy Thai (medyo giveaway naman noh?? hihi) restaurant in Tomas Morato called Thai-pan. Upon first glance, I knew I wanted to visit that place for sometime now. What perfect timing! Of course being the “chippy-chippyhan” couple (pardon the self-invented term of mine for being matipid or thrifty, hahaha), we first took a look on the menu and the corresponding...

Just because we're turning two.
It’s our 2nd year anniversary!!! Wow, time flies fast and.. I can’t believe I’ve been with Saz for this long (maybe not too long for many) but for the record, I’d rather be with no other man but him. Yihee. Hahahaha. It’s really been wonderful seeing him from where he was 2 to 3 years ago to where he is now and I’m glad that I was there all along. Can’t...

Early celebration!
Saz and I celebrated our 2nd year anniversary at Diamond Hotel last Saturday night. We had a wonderful buffet dinner at Corniche, one of my favorite hotel buffets next to Crowne Plaza’s 7 Corners. (look at those gummies and desserts like cookies and crinkles in glass containers!!!) It’s actually our second time to eat there, last year’s Valentine’s being our first...

We're back.
A couple of weeks ago, mom and I broke the habit of dining at Cyma every weekend. Instead, we ate at our favorite vegan restaurant, Pipino. Last Saturday, however, we realized how much we missed our usual Roka salad and hummus at Cyma and decided to come over to Trinoma to satisfy our cravings! Additional garlic bread? We were famished! Techie momma? She’s amused at her new...

Tried all, bought none.
Last night, while waiting for dad to pick me up, I strolled around Galleria and threw on clothes to possibly buy. Tried a lot of stuff but I ended up buying not a single thing. Does that happen to you? Even with this top, I couldn’t pick the right color!!! And Saz and I’s anniversary is coming up! Er, better get something new to wear and look extraordinary for a day! Haha!

Let's rewind a bit.
afternoon drive, Hainanese chicken, porridge, adobo egg, window shopping, coffee cups and desserts, stories, rants and raves, afternoon breeze, nostalgia Went to Shang last Saturday afternoon to meet up with my closest high school classmates, Mary, Sheela, and Marga. Didn’t realize it took us more than a year to get together again. It was good catching up, ladies!
