Todate: 12.30.11
It was an ordinary day with extraordinary food and company. What was supposed to be a day for pedicure (yeah yeah, I’m overdue) turned out to be a spontaneous date with Saz. Finally, we visited Raintree for the first time! Can I just say that they have the most amazing milk tea??? (Kudos to the Bulans!)Ya heard it. I know I’ve long been a Moonleaf girl but the first sip took me...

Comfort foooood!
Having a bad day? Recovering from a bad cold? Broken-hearted? Aside from purging your closet, why not have a delicious meal and head out to Cyma? That’s what mom and I did yesterday. Never an experience without my favorite salad in THE WHOLE WORLD- Roka Salata. This isn’t too healthy since it’s not whole wheat pasta, but the ingredients are a better option for a pasta...

And then BOOM.
God’s message for me today is soooo apt for what I am feeling right now, or rather, the past few days. My God? Well, He just comes to my rescue every single time. He just never fails to remind me of what I should believe in and hope for and reshape my heart in the littlest of ways. Thank you, Lord, for always keeping me on track and for never giving up on me when I almost gave up on...

What it's been like the past few days.
I’ve been stuck in my room, tucked in bed for the past days now when I should be working my ass off preparing for this January event in Cebu. I am still nursing a cough and occasional headaches and the least I want to worry about are budget memos and correspondences. I need to get better. Or at least better enough to withstand a workday tomorrow. Plan was I was gonna report on Monday and...

It's as easy as sending a text.
Inspired by my friend Lars’ (invisiboy.tumblr.com) Christmas post, I found out how to donate money to the victims of Sendong via text. You can easily do your charity work without even walking out of your bedroom door! Instead of or alongside texting your friends and loved ones your late Christmas greetings, you can simply donate the same amount to our fellow Filipinos struck by the typhoon. ...

Happy Holidays!
Though I was nursing a bad cold and headache (turned fever late that night), it did not stop me from enjoying the Christmas dinner I had w/my family. We sang and ate all night long! It was great while it lasted. Some pictures of the eventful night: Merry Christmas to all of you!!! :)

Aww.
The last post I published was a “letter” to my sister. Apparently, she has a tumblr! And she replies with this, which made me tear up! Oh high heavens! “I love you and you ARE one of the few people who inspire me. I always write about you in at least one of my essays in school. I am proud to have you as my sister, and I always will. And I’ll always try to make you feel how...

To my sister
Hi B, Sorry for last night. I never thought completing the 9-day Simbang Gabi meant that much to you. I feel sorry for the 3-hour drive you gracefully took from Alabang to our house despite the unbearable traffic, just to bring me home. I appreciate the gesture, but I feel like I shouldn’t have asked the favor. I’d sacrifice anything to make you happy. Of course, I’m your big...

Days that were.
This post is incomplete. It’s missing On Media’s Christmas party and RLC’s as well. Last Saturday was my HS barkada’s (clique’s) Christmas reunion at the Uichanco residence. It was nice seeing everyone after what… more than a year? A couple of nights before, we had our farewell party for the resignees at Robot. I still think this night stood out among all...

To runners like me, who run to run away. →
Iya is one of my favorite writers, I’d have to say. This is her take on one’s marriage to a sport called running. Read on, it’s a good, emotional read.

This made me tear up. I miss college, I miss Ateneo. This is for batch 2010- the Sesquicentennial batch. Of course this video was produced by the boyfriend, photographed, edited and colored by Aaron Palabyab, scored by Aaron Gonzales.

I know it’s been said and heard a million times, but sometimes, you need to be reminded of certain things especially the ones too common to even stand out from our day-to-day dealings. CHANGE IS THE ONLY CONSTANT THING IN THE WORLD. And yes, I know there have been changes in the past days, weeks, or so; but today, I came to work with a totally different atmosphere. I felt the change too...

Supposed entry last December 14.
LAST NIGHT WAS INCREDIBLE!!!!!! So in my last entry I spilled about this hosting gig for our company Christmas party right? Well, truth be told, it was probably the most challenging hosting gig I’ve ever gotten into! It was an hour past 6 and people were starting to come in the Ballroom. The program had to start by 7pm and around 630, we still weren’t fed, grumbling stomach indeed!...

Playing Santa
It’s gift-giving time!!!!! It’s one of the most challenging tasks of this season, me thinks. From thinking of what to give, coming up with a list of people, to sticking to the budget- everything seems so daunting yet fulfilling in the end. I just want to share with you about my recent gift purchases for my family and Saz (which I already gave him in advance!). Haven’t given...

Look what Santa gave me!
This came as a sweet surprise by my parents! Thing is, my cousin who’s a bag enthusiast has a loooot of items on hand. From DKNY to Michael Kors, Jimmy Choo to Louis Vuitton, Prada to Hermes! This beautiful classic smoked check Burberry tote was bought in Singapore last year and she decided to sell it! Of course we had an advantage, got it at a cousin-ly price! And it is mine! *giggle* ...
