Weekend’s over and im back to work. Went to Canyon Woods for some cold breeze and lazy time with friends. How awesome the house was! It was like i lived in a fantasy world for a couple of days! Pictures soon!
Speaking of work.. Finally, the aircondition right up my cubicle has been covered so the chilly cold air’s not bugging me anymore. I can enjoy work more, then! Many of you dont know but i cant stand too much cold. Kinda like it all warm and fuzzy.
Hope something makes you smile today, maybe your own little version of my much-awaited cozy work atmosphere.
I can truly, truly, say.. after being all ears with my boyfriend ranting and raving about the complexities, if you will, of his media production business, that i am not entrepreneurial. (Did i spell it correctly?)
Seriously, i’d rather just buy off some franchise and manage a business. I can never deal with setting up and creating PROCESSES AND SYSTEMS. Operations, sorry, i will never mess with you. Not ever.
P.S. This makes my boyfriend even more admirable and courageous (in my eyes ;p). And i just want to share his thoughts about others saying he’s brave ’cos he’s not scared and all that, and i quote: “It’s not that im fearless. Takot din ako (Im also fearful)”. He ended by telling me that he believes that courage is not really about being fearless, its about facing your fears.
Salute you, for facing your fears with such optimism and high hopes, with a vision and passion, and heart.
Another pseudo gig? Was just asked to co-host the sales rally with one of our sales managers, sir Jo-al Ferrer. Oh well. The downside of being the newbie. On a lighter note, i think im not going to host the learning conference (which is supposed to be scheduled on the day itself!) anymore. Won’t be too stressed! Must confirm finalities.
“When you come across someone who has a bigger personality, a bigger dream, a bigger passion, then he’s the one. You need someone who is so dynamic, he will leave you in awe. You will need a bigger fish.”—
“There is no such thing as a stupid question. Many people say that, but it really is true. Every question, no matter how ill-formed or ignorant of knowledge, is a request for knowledge, a request for information. It is an effort to understand better. Every time someone asks an honest question, it is an interrogation of nature, an attempt to unlock the secrets of the universe.”—Carl Sagan (via devincastro)
We promised we wouldn’t do it again, but we slept for hours. Six to be exact and you were only present for four of them. While we slept, I had a dream about you. It felt real, but something was off. Then I awoke there in your arms safe and sound; I could feel your lips between my shoulder blades. I brought you a present.
